The Ninth Anniversary
11 September 2010
102 Minutes That Changed America.
I already own and have already watched a number of 9/11 videos during the past nine years, but this is the first one I have watched since I started this Web site.
As I watched these two hours of amazing, mostly amateur footage, in my mind's eye it seemed as if I could see big letters constantly across the screen: THIS IS YOUR ISLAMIC FUTURE!
But this statement is not completely accurate, because what happened on 9/11 is not the entirety of our Islamic future, it is just a SMALL FORETASTE of the much more horrific things to come! September 11, 2001 was just the tip of the iceberg of the worldwide Islamic agenda that has been unfolding, and will continue to unfold, throughout our lifetime.
As I mentioned above, I have watched a number of 9/11 videos over the years, most of them a number of times. But even after nine years, it is still shocking to relive the event through the footage of 102 Minutes That Changed America. It is still a staggering, mindboggling event. Like the people in the video, you just can't believe that it really happened — surely it must be just another Hollywood disaster movie. But no matter how hard you try, there is no denying the reality of what happened on that fateful, tragic day.
Neither can you deny the reality of the thoughts and emotions you experience while watching videos like these. The rage, the hate, the desire for revenge. As one person on the streets of New York exclaimed in the video: "The United States should go now and totally wipe out all of the Muslim countries, and put an end to these kind of attacks once and for all." In your heart of hearts, can't you find yourself agreeing with such sentiment even a tiny little bit?
Remember the news reports of Muslims around the world dancing in the streets and celebrating this Islamic attack on America? Doesn't that make your blood boil even more?
When we see Muslims rejoicing in such evil, it's simply one more proof that Islam is a demonically-inspired and demonically-controlled religion, as I have demonstrated in numerous articles on this Web site.
And when we see Americans, even "Christian" Americans, rejoicing when the Taliban or Saddam Hussein are defeated in war, it's simply one more proof that normal, mainstream Christianity in this nation — what I refer to as Pagan Christianity — is a demonically-inspired and demonically-controlled religion, as I have also demonstrated in numerous articles on this Web site.
If we are followers of Yeshua (Jesus), then we must do what that says: follow Yeshua. To follow Him means to go where He goes. And where He goes is always on the path of love, mercy, forgiveness, and the other fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-25). But Yeshua never leads us on the path of anger, rage, bitterness, hatred, revenge, and the other manifestations of the sinful nature (Galatians 5:19-21). As the Apostle Paul wrote to the followers of Yeshua in the city of Ephesus:
With the authority of Yahweh I say this: Live no longer as the unbelievers do, for they are hopelessly confused. Their minds are full of darkness; they wander far from the life God gives because they have closed their minds and hardened their hearts against Him. But that isn't what you learned about Messiah. Since you have heard about Yeshua and have learned the truth that comes from Him, throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God — truly righteous and holy.THIS is the path that Yeshua leads us on as His followers. We will never defeat violence by violence. We will never defeat anger by anger. We will never defeat hatred by hatred. We will never defeat revenge by revenge. As Paul wrote to the followers of Yeshua in the city of Corinth:
Don't sin by letting anger control you. Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the Devil. And do not bring sorrow to God's Holy Spirit by the way you live. Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind, tenderhearted, forgiving — just as God through Yeshua has forgiven you. (Ephesians 4:17,18,20-24,26,27,30a,31,32)
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. (2 Corinthians 10:3,4)What are these unworldly weapons with divine power? The very same weapons that Yeshua used when He walked the earth: love, humility, forgiveness, service, and even dying for the ones who hated Him. THESE are the divine, spiritual weapons that Yeshua wants His followers to use against Muslims. Hatred and violence are NEVER the way of Yeshua.
The ways that the world wages war are in opposition to the way of Yeshua: burning Qur'ans, attacking mosques, protesting against Islam, killing Muslim "militants", and other unbiblical expressions of the sinful nature.
Do the 9/11 attacks stir up anger and rage in your heart? Get over it! Do Muslims dancing in the streets celebrating evil make your blood boil and cause you to lust for revenge? Get over it! The world is always going to be full of evil people doing evil deeds — and it's only going to get worse!
We can't let such actions sidetrack us from following the straight and narrow path of Yeshua. Read what Asaph wrote in Psalm 73 about how foolish and useless it is to let the evil deeds of the evil derail you. And unforgiveness is one of the major ways that Satan tries to derail us:
What I have forgiven, I have forgiven in the sight of Yeshua, in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes. (2 Corinthians 2:10)In the shadow of 9/11, the words of God in the New Testament show us the way onward. Forward, march, soldiers of Yeshua the crucified! His war of LOVE needs our wholehearted participation!
Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with others and forgive whatever grievances you may have against others. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the shalom of Yeshua rule in your hearts. (Colossians 3:12-15a)
